Renaissance in Manalapan is a gated, Active
Adult community for those who are 55 and older. Calton
Homes built 127 homes in 2000-2001.
Renaissance is located west of Route 9 at the
intersection of Craig Rd. It is within walking distance to shopping and
bus transportation.
The homes are detached single family homes offering 2 or 3 bedrooms, 2
or 3 baths - all homes have a 2 car garage. Some of the homes also have
a basement and/or a loft. Four basic models were offered. The homes
have approximately 2,000 sq ft., and originally sold for +- $250,000 and
up.
The amenities offered include
a clubhouse, pool, tennis, exercise room. The monthly maintenance fee
includes common area maintenance, lawn care, snow removal and trash
removal. Pets are allowed.
All Adult Communities in Monmouth County offer transportation
services. There is a bus service from each community to local
shopping centers such as malls and supermarkets. This is a scheduled
service and there is no charge. There is also a medical transport
bus that will take people to any medical facility or doctor's office
in Monmouth County. These trips must be scheduled a few days in
advance and there is a minimal charge for this service.
