Covered Bridge is an active (55+) Adult Community in Manalapan in Monmouth County. There are actually 2 Covered Bridge communities - Covered Bridge I & Covered Bridge II. There are more than 1800 homes in the two Covered Bridge sections. Covered Bridge was built between 1972 and 1982.

The homes are mostly in buildings of 8 or 10 units each - 4 or 5 uppers and 4 or 5 lowers. There are no elevators. There are also some ranch-type single level homes. The homes are either 1 or 2 bedrooms, with 1 or 2 baths. Home prices range from the low $100,000's to the low $200,000's. Taxes range from $1700 per year to over $3800 per year. Heat in all of Covered Bridge is electric.

Association fees are currently between $428.00 per quarter and $495.00 per quarter. Covered Bridge I and Covered Bridge II each have a clubhouse, pool, tennis and a fitness center.
