Wine corks. Oh what to do with all those leftover wine corks from I drink wine. I try to drink a lot of wine. The doctor says it’s good for me. He says it has to be good one with a year and a cork.
So since we have all these corks leftover, what should I do with them? Here’s a couple of ideas.
I recently made a backsplash out of cork’s behind my wet bar. I cut the corks in half and glued them to a piece of plywood that I cut to size. Did it a nice looking pattern. I then attached the plywood to the wall using double face tape. It looks great and it was a lot of fun.
Here’s a smaller scale idea. Cut a piece of wood to whatever size you wanted to be, cut your corks in half, and glue them on to the wood and you have nice hot platter trivet.
If you have any interesting ideas, please let me know.
