For years, one of the national moving companies has been taking a survey, looking to track where American families are moving to. Also, where are they moving from?
It looks like many Americans no longer wish to live in the Northeastern part of the country anymore. Especially not in New Jersey since this is the state where the most people are moving from. I say, GOOD! There’s too much traffic in New Jersey anyways, move out and take the traffic with you!
New York and Connecticut were numbers 3 and 4. Illinois was number 2, and Kansas # 5.
I think a large portion or the outgoing people were baby boomers looking for a warmer and / or less expensive place to live.
So where did they move to? Believe it or not, the 4 most popular states were South Dakota, Vermont, Oregon and Idaho. So much for moving to a warmer climate, huh?
As for me, I’ll stay here in New Jersey
